Other Post-approval Stage Requirements

Medical Report

Once your MM2H application is approved, you and your dependents (spouse and children) are required to undergo a medical check-up in Malaysia. The medical report must be issued by a registered clinic or private hospital in Malaysia as part of the visa endorsement process.

Medical Insurance

All applicants and dependents must obtain a valid medical insurance policy that provides coverage in Malaysia. This ensures access to quality healthcare during your stay. Note: Applicants aged 60 and above may be exempted on a case-by-case basis from this requirement.

Restrictions

As an MM2H participant, you are not permitted to work in Malaysia unless you apply under specific categories (e.g., Platinum, subject to terms). Additionally, participants must refrain from activities deemed sensitive to Malaysian culture or those that may pose a security threat to the country.
